Q5 is 14 not 12
It seems to me that on question 8, if John is twice as old as Mary, and Mary is 20 right now, then John MUST be 40 right now. In 10 years, then, Mary would indeed be 30, but John would be 50. So that answer doesn’t seem to fit the question at all. Am I missing something here?
Yip, that’s what I’d say too. There are a few dubious answers in this quiz!
The question says that in 10 years Jane will be 30, so now she is 20. It’s a trick question – the excess of information is meant to confuse.
Both CARE and ACRE are correct. # 2 is I, as each misses ONE letter, not two letters.
