Jobs in the Roman Empire

There are many jobs available in an empire but this quiz focused on two categories, one that requires physical strength and attributions, and another where more intelligent and wealthier individuals aspire to be during that time. But keep in mind that a lot of those historical figures during their reign have been both.

Gladiator/Legionnaire: The world-famous gladiators were sadly just mostly comprised of slaves during that time, but they displayed their combat skills with the utmost honor. Legionnaires are the empire’s soldiers and protectors tasked to march wherever their general or emperor tells them to.

Scholar/Senate: Scholars in ancient Rome contributed to the intellectual and cultural legacy of their time. They are the reason why we know a lot of information about this time. The Senate is the one governing the lands of the vast empire and also holds most of the power and wealth.
