6. True Animal Fact: Dog Refused to Leave Injured Friend After Tsunami
During the earthquake that created the tsunami that hit Japan in 2011, a lot of people evacuated as soon as they could, but not all animals, such as stray dogs, did. So, after the disaster, a lot of stories about them have gone trending on the news.
One of the most heartwarming events was when one of the citizens found a dog staying beside his injured friend in the rubble. They were both clearly caught in the flood as they are both wet and very weak.

10. Amazing Historical Fact: She Painted Her Life Before Dying at 26
Another painter who got inspiration from their own life was a young Jewish artist named Charlotte Salomon. She painted hundreds of pictures about her daily living during World War 2.
Nearly 800 paintings were created during her time of hiding, which showcases her family’s history, her mental health, and her memory of the terrors that happened. After the war, her paintings were returned to her family and are now in the care of the Jewish Historical Museum in Amsterdam.
