1. Bioluminescent Bays

Microscopic organisms, mainly plankton, but not the same ones in the animated series Spongebob Squarepants. Plankton in that series is a zooplankton, while the ones that light up the bays are called Bioluminescent dinoflagellates.

The way they do this is by producing light through a chemical reaction called bioluminescence which reasons is still not clear to scientists. But the leading hypothesis is that they do this to attract mates or protect themselves from predators.

Anyways, if you have not visited one before the best ones are located in Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and Australia. These places are so magical in the night, and the darker it is the brighter their glows will be. Some bays also allow you to kayak into these waters and experience the glow as closely as possible.

Visiting this place will make you feel like you just went back in time due to how ancient the city is. Matera is thousands of years old, and it has stood the test of time showing how good the architectural ability and intelligence of humans even back then.

Now there’s a lot relying on that dance, as it shows the male spiders’ stamina and health. These drawings can only be seen from above and afar because of how gigantic they are. Up to this day, their purpose remains unknown, but scientists believe that it might be related to religion since it can only be seen from above. Like it might be for the God of the religion during that time.

There are also some conspiracy theorists who believe that aliens are the ones who draw these figures. Like do you think you would be able to draw a giant spider or a giant human, and 70 other shapes and figures and communicate what you draw properly?
